EP Material Blades
The full name of EP blade is Epoxy Resin Doctor Blade, which adopts engineering plastic reinforcement technology and synthetic resin modification process. It is a high-performance composite material product formed by one-time lamination.
Material Composition of EP Dctor Blade
Many doctor blades are using epoxy resin as the matrix, carbon fiber or ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) or glass fiber reinforcement is added, and some models contain solid lubricants.

Technical Advantages of EP Doctor Blade
It can solve the problems of corrosion, wear and rust of traditional metal scrapers, with a friction coefficient as low as 0.05, suitable for high temperatures (≤ 350 ℃) and humid environments.
Meatures of EP Doctor Blade
1. Wear resistance: The wear loss is only 0.03g/m ², which is 7-8 times higher than manganese steel and has a much longer service life than cast iron materials;
2. Self lubrication: Contains waxy substances, does not require additional lubrication, reduces equipment energy consumption;
3. Stability: High frequency use without deformation, resistant to chemical corrosion (such as 20% sulfuric acid, 20% sodium hydroxide), water absorption rate less than 6%;
4. Health and safety: The surface is smooth without scaling, meets food grade contact standards, and avoids secondary pollution.
Main Application of EP Blade
Paper industry: used in dryer and press sections to remove pulp residues and improve the surface smoothness of paper;
Chemical and metallurgical industries: used as lining plates for silos or scraper chutes to handle abrasive materials such as coal powder and slag;
Environmental protection equipment: Scrape off adhesives and resist acid and alkali corrosion in sewage treatment or solid waste treatment.
