Screen plates, as crucial screening components in pulping, are commonly used in hydrapulper and fiber separators. They filter out large fiber particles from the pulp, effectively separating the pulp from impurities. Sun Hong's screen plates are made of wear-resistant stainless steel, ensuring continuous, long-term operation.
In the hydrapulper, raw material is mixed with water and mechanically agitated to form a pulp suspension. Driven by the intense agitation of the rotor and the pressure of the water flow, it flows toward the bottom screen plate, where it screens the material. Fibers and water of appropriate size pass through the holes in the screen plate and enter the next process, while oversized impurities are blocked by the screen plate.

The screen plate performs a similar function in a fiber separator. After coarse screening, unseparated particles such as fine fibers and light impurities may still remain in the pulp. The rotor agitates the material, evenly distributing it across the screen plate surface. Qualified fibers pass through the screen holes and flow to the next process.
Increased fiber recovery rate: Recovers tail rotor residue, reducing material waste.
Improves pulp purity: Removes light impurities, coarse residue, and other materials, improving pulp quality.
Protecting downstream equipment: Prevents large particles from entering subsequent processing stages, reducing blockage.
Sun Hong offers screen plates of varying specifications tailored to customer production lines and paper grades, ensuring efficient and stable performance throughout production.
