The dryer cylinder rotary joint is one of the most precise dynamic sealing devices in the drying section of a paper machine. It has a direct impact on heat transfer and operating energy consumption. It is used to allow for the leak-free input of steam and discharge of condensate between the dryer cylinder and the fixed pipeline.
In the paper making industry, rotary joints are often used in the dryer cylinder of the paper machine. The dryer section is an important and energy-intensive process link of the paper machine, and the rotary joint is used here to transmit steam. The rotary joint is installed of the dryer cylinder shaft and can continuously introduce steam into the running dryer cylinder to accelerate the drying of paper. The water formed after the steam condenses will accumulate at the bottom of the dryer cylinder. The rotary joint can cooperate with the siphon to efficiently discharge the water to prevent the accumulation of water from reducing thermal efficiency and causing unnecessary burden on the dryer cylinder.
Excellent sealing strip: Ensures long term extremely low leakage rate under high pressure, high temperature and high operating conditions, reducing the loss of media.
High durability: Sun Hong's rotary joints are made of carbon steel, which is wear resistant and corrosion resistant, greatly extending the replacement cycle.
Low torque: Ensures smooth operation, small joint starting torque, flexible and smooth rotation, does not cause significant load on the dryer cylinder, and helps save energy.
Wide applicability: Can transmit a variety of media (steam, thermal oil, etc.), and adapt to extreme working conditions such as -50°C to 450°C.
