Yankee Dryer Creping Blade Holder

The Yankee dryer creping blade holder is a precision component in the production process of toilet paper and tissue paper. It is located below the Yankee and is the core component of the paper creping process. This device allows the doctor blade to act on the surface of the dryer at a specific angle and pressure to complete the creping of the paper.

The oil pressure tube inside the fixture prevents deformation of the doctor blade fixture, has good adherence, suppresses vibration of the doctor blade, has good stability, can be used with lower line pressure, and has high cleaning efficiency. The use of air bag type doctor blade fixture, roller full width and doctor blade contact softness is good. No need for fine adjustment. Main Functions of Creping Blade Holder

• Accurately fix the doctor blade: Provide strong, stable support for the creping blade that is several meters or tens of meters long without deformation, ensuring that the doctor blade maintains a high degree of consistency with the dryer surface along the entire width of the dryer.

• Control the doctor blade cutting angle: Accurately adjust the angle between the doctor blade and the Yankee dryer tangent line. This angle directly affects the degree of creping, the performance of the paper sheet and the final output.

• Apply and control line pressure: The blade holder system can apply uniform and controllable pressure to the doctor blade, so that the doctor blade contacts the high-speed running dryer surface. The pressure affects the creping effect and the degree of wear of the doctor blade itself.

• Realize fast installation and replacement: A quick replacement system is provided, which can safely and quickly move the blade holder assembly from the working position to maintenance when replacing a worn doctor blade.

Work Principle of Creping Blade Holder

The paper is dried to a certain degree on the surface of the Yankee dryer, and the required cutting angle, line pressure, etc. are set. The system will push the entire blade holder forward, and the edge of the clamped doctor blade contacts the high speed running dryer surface at a specific angle. The blade holder and the doctor blade make a micro lateral movement, and the doctor blade the dried paper from the dryer surface (in this process, the paper is wrinkled due to micro shearing and bending to form a soft paper towel). The scraping debris generated will be removed and the scraped paper sheets are introduced into the next process through the paper guide roller.
