Carrier rope is specially designed for papermaking industry. As an auxiliary equipment on papermaking machine, it is a high strength braided rope used to guide paper, which can effectively avoid paper breakage, wrinkles, misalignment and other problems.
Carrier rope can be systematically divided into double rope carrier rope and triple rope carrier rope. Double rope carrier rope is often used in paper machines with a basis weight of 40-120g/m², while triple rope carrier rope is generally used in paper machines with a basis weight greater than 120g/m².
(If the paper machine speed is 300-800m/min, 12mm-15mm is enough for the paper guide rope strength. If the paper machine speed is above 800m/min, the carrier rope can be thicker.)
In paper making production, paper guiding needs to be manually or automatically guided to the next production link. Pay special attention to the elongation of the carrier rope. Generally, the elongation of the carrier rope is 3%-5%. If the elongation is too small, the speed difference between the groups in the drying section may cause the carrier rope to break. On the contrary, the carrier rope will be in a loose state in a certain range and cannot carry paper sheets. When a coreless carrier rope is selected, the two ropes are loose and cannot carry paper sheets. This phenomenon is caused by the excessive elongation of the coreless carrier rope. Replacing it with a cored carrier rope can restore it to normal.
