It is powered by compressed air and replaces traditional springs, making the pressure of the scraper on the roller surface more uniform, easier to adjust, and gentler to operate, becoming a standard component of modern efficient roller cleaning systems.

Structure and Working Principle of Doctor Blade Holder Air Tube

Doctor blade holder air tube is a flexible sealed airbag formed by vulcanization of high temperature resistant, oil resistant, and aging resistant rubber/composite rubber and reinforced cord. It is equipped with an air circuit, pressure regulating valve, and fixed fixture to form a pressurization unit. It is commonly used in single pneumatic tube and double pneumatic tube (pressurized pneumatic tube+depressurized pneumatic tube) structures.

Pressurization: Compressed air is introduced into the pressurized pneumatic tube, and the airbag expands to push the doctor blade, causing the blade to evenly adhere to the roller surface and form a stable linear pressure.

Pressure relief/clutch: Evacuate the doctor blade holder air tube, ventilate the pressure relief pneumatic tube, and the airbag contracts to drive the blade away from the roller surface, achieving rapid disengagement.

Its core features are flexible drive, full range uniform pressure, and shape following fit, which can compensate for roller surface jumping, doctor blade deformation, and installation deviation, and maintain stable contact between the blade and the roller surface throughout the process.
